Thomond do the double winning the Gleeson League and McInerney Cup.

Thomond once again playing their Bogey rivals Garryowen in another final, these two teams have went tit for tat over the last few years.

Garryowen started off well going 3 nill up putting the ball through the posts for a penalty.

Shortly after another Garryowen penalty and a yellow card Thomond get the first try of the game with Darragh Custy touching down to make the game Thomond 5-6 Garryowen.

Straight from the restart Cilian Moughty gets on the end of a lovely chip through from Garry Bateman and Jason Keane converts to make it Thomond 12-6 Garryowen.

Just before half-time Jason Keane slots over a penalty to make the score 15-6 at the half to Thomond.

Thomond hit back right from the kickoff in the second half with another penalty scored by Jason Keane. Thomond 18-6 Garryowen.

Garryowen get one back and a super convert from touchline to bring the score within a converted try. Thomond 18-13 Garryowen.

With 10 minutes left Garryowen get another try with a missed conversion to bring the scoring to a close and ends 18-18 with extra time to come.

Thomond try to open their account in extra time but miss a penalty, still 18-18.

Garryowen however makes their attempt stick and kick one over to get 3 points ahead. Thomond 18-21 Garryowen.

In the second half of extra time not much happens up to the final whistle of the game looking very likely that Garryowen are going to win their 3rd Gleeson League in a row.

In the last play of the game Werner Kruger of Thomond snatches the game from Garryowen with a strong leg drive to win it. Jason Keane converts to make the game Thomond 25-21 Garryowen and Thomond the 24/25 Gleeson League Champions.
